Our favorite jazz-metal band ORTHODOX, we´ll cross France in two weeks in order to play 9 concerts.

Four is the number of the cities that the band we´ll visit along this month of november: Lyon, Annency, Chambery and Ibos.

Hello, we´re back.

It was a long time ago since our last blog update. We´ve been a little busy round here working in some new releases that we hope you all enjoy. So let the bands speak for themselves:

CUZO´s new album “OTROS MUNDOS” is the sophomore effort from this psychedelic-prog-rock trio from Barcelona. ALEPPO PINE is our current definition about psych folk. Their debut album “HOLY PICNIC” is full of experimentation, exotic instruments, soft and warm vocal lines and good taste. This band has a complicated mission, nothing but bring back to modern music all the spirit of experimentation and sensitivity lost  long time ago, and with “HOLY PICNIC” they´re gonna made it for sure!!. We all know that all music was invented several decades ago, but what happens when you don´t want to invented nothing?, what happends when the only thing you want to do is to pull out that dark stuff that you have in your guts?, then you get WARCHETYPE. This heavy-doom band gathers in their last album “ANCESTRAL CULT OF DIVINITY” all the classic elements of the epic doom classics and throw them into the modern age. “ITACA”, remember that word, i will say it again, “ITACA”. That´s the title of the third album of THE SOULBREAKER COMPANY, and sure is a word you´re gonna hear a lot. This album is the band definitely leap of faith into hard-rock Olympus. After their second album “THE PINK ALCHEMIST”, the band decides to make one of the most brilliants progressive-hard rock-oriented albums, and sure they do!!. Roadburn Records label of the month in Terrorizer Mag

Roadburn Records (& Burning World Records) was chosen as label of the month by our good friends at Terrorizer mag. We got to explain our label filosofy and got to chose our 5 favourite records that were released by Roadburn Records or Burning World Records. Next to that we got to announce our coop with doomlabel extra ordinaire Southern Lord on the vinyl version of Flower of Disease and I + Dog Days. Wino will release his 2009 Sunday set on cd and double vinyl with us and next to that the Neurosis 2007 set on Roadburn. Neurot will do the cd duties, we will handle the vinyl. Expect the Goatsnake albums in May and Neurosis somewhere in the fall of 2010. No date is set yet for that last one, the Goatsnake vinyls are already in production.

ALONE RECORDS/THE STONE CIRCLE celebrates 10th year anniversary and Release plans.

ALONE RECORDS is becoming 10 years old this 2010 and for this celebration we are planning to release all of our entire catalogue still unavailable on vinyl format. Releases will go between 300 and 500 pieces, only for this special year for us, and will not be re-released. Spect the usual high quality releases with 180gr vinyl, printed inners and Gatefold covers for the longer releases, and a hard cardboard 180gr vinyl for the shorter pressings.

Back to the release plans for this 2010, there will be confirmed new albums from our greatest artists in all genres: WARCHETYPE, ORTHODOX, VIAJE A 800, CUZO and THE SOULBREAKER COMPANY are the first confirmations. Expect the new one from CUZO in earlu June, WARCHETYPE and VIAJE A 800 albums in Early September, ORTHODOX and THE SOULBREAKER COMPANY in November.

Two of our all time favourite labels INDIE RECORDINGS from Norway and BURNING WORLD RECORDS/ROADBURN RECORDS are now distributed in Spain by ALONE RECORDS/KROMATIK MUSIK.

INDIE RECORDINGS is a well established label from Norway is releasing the best nordic metal these days. From ENSLAVED to 1349, from BORKNAGAR to OV HELL, from WARDRUNA to TRINACRIA, the norwegian label is becoming one of the strongest labels in the world of metal music and the most respected ones. ALONE RECORDS is officially distributing their releases in Spain through our distribution network KROMATIK MUSIK, which is also in charge of manufacturing all vinyl production from now on.

BURNING WORLD RECORDS and ROADBURN RECORDS are brother labels, they live in the same house but works independently. BURNING WORLD is releasing a wide range or dark, psych and black under the name of infamous acts like ALTAR OF PLAGUES or GNAW THEIR TONGUES, as ROADBURN RECORDS focus on releasing the greatest live performances captured on tape at the ROADBURN FESTIVAL, with releases like CHURCH OF MISERY, YEAR OF NO LIGHT or WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM.
BURNING WORLD is also our partner for the TRINACRIA vinyl release and we hope becoming our long  journey partner for all the upcoming releases on vinyl we have scheduled for this year.

TRINACRIA to be released on vinyl

TRINACRIA “Travel Now Journey Infinitely” album to be released on vinyl by the co-effort between 2 of the most active european independent labels in Europe for the genres of doom, black, psych and metal BURNING WORLD RECORDS and ALONE RECORDS/THE STONE CIRCLE.

Release to be presented on the upcoming ROADBURN FESTIVAL 2010, where TRINACRIA is performing on Friday 16th April and official releasing same date specially for the show.

For the very first time on vinyl, presented on deluxe 180 gr vinyl, gatefold sleeve with printed inner sleeves artwork, including exclusive pressing of 100 units on gold vinyl. First pressing of 500 copies. For fans of Enslaved ,Neurosis or Isis.

TRINACRIA is the side project formed by members of ENSLAVED, FE-MAIL and the psychedelic rock band EMMERHOFF & THE MELANCHOLY BABIES.  TRINACRIA was originally a composition by Ivar Bjørnson (Enslaved), Maja S. K. Ratkje and Hils Sofie Tafjord (both from Fe-mail), commissioned by Rikskonsertene for a concert series. The line-up was completed by Grutle Kjellson, Ice Dale (both from Enslaved), Iver Sandøy (Emmerhoff) and Espen Lien. In short: after working together briefly, the composition turned into a vital project which, after touring, became a fully welded band.
The hard hitting sounds of cutting edge Norwegian Extreme Metal combined with contemporary Norwegian Noise’s finest makes for a unique blend. The result outdoes the sum of the products by far – Trinacria represents something unique on the music scene as a whole.
